Salesforce Quality Assurance (Q.A.) Engineer

Purpose of Position

As a Salesforce Q.A. Engineer at OLIANT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform manual and automated testing, identify and document defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance process. Your expertise in Salesforce testing and knowledge of Q.A. methodologies will help us deliver high-quality software solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.

• Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies to ensure software operates within defined requirements.

• Identify and document defects, track and manage defects through to resolution, ensuring full traceability.

• Perform functional and regression testing to validate that new changes do not affect existing functionality.

• Collaborate closely with software developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver high-quality software on time.

• Participate in design and code reviews, user story creation processes, and planning and coordination of release activities.

• Continuously look for opportunities for automation and process improvements in the quality assurance process.


Specialized Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least two years of experience in Quality Assurance roles, including automation testing.

• Experience with Salesforce testing and Salesforce applications.

• Experience in functional and regression testing, test planning, test writing, and defect tracking and reporting.

• Knowledge of REST API basics, SQL/Database basics, and testing integrations.

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and end-to-end system processes.

• Intermediate English skills

• Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

• Proven ability to work autonomously, demonstrating proactive reporting and excellent communication skills.

• A collaborative mindset.

• Understanding of client business needs and the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
