Oliant is seeking a web designer with knowledge of the following platforms (in order of importance):
1) WebFlow
2) Headless CMS (any of them)
3) WordPress
The position will require a maximum of 80 to 100 hours a month. The goal is to make several changes and enhancements to Oliant's current website. Some of the tasks required will be the following:
- A new design of the page based on the existing branding. This new design must follow the most modern principles of clean, simple design.
- Build landing pages that will be connected to the marketing platforms.
- Continuously improve the SEO of any page on the website.
- Create new sections such as resources, tools, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content team to allow them to operate independently in the content creation.
- Evaluate and improve the mobile design, user experience, and usability.
- Improve pages' performance. Oliant's team can provide deep performance analysis in different devices, creating some guidelines. The web designer must be able to follow those guidelines and implement them accordingly.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate content that requires programming and data stored in the backend.
- Nice-to-have: English communication skills. Part of the team speaks Spanish, but it would ideal that the candidate can collaborate verbally with some of the members of the team that only speak English.
Your role will be crucial in shaping our digital presence.
The usual workflow will follow the same pattern:
- Oliant CEO, Business Development Manager, or the Digital Marketing department will provide guidelines for a mockup.
- We need to receive a proposal of one or two mockups that will be discussed and approved accordingly. FIGMA mockups are preferred.
- The Web Designer will ideally create and implement the page in the live environment.
Our methodology is 100% Agile. We plan small increments of work, that need to be evaluated, designed, and implemented rapidly.
Lastly, we would like to build a relationship with the candidate to extend this request to other websites the company owns in different parts of the world. The current work is for the main website in the US.
Oliant will pay for licenses and platforms required to do a better job.
